Zee is No.2; Colors tops

Campaign India Team, 03 June, 2009

Mumbai

Colors continued its strong run to continue as No. 1 in the GEC stakes with 258 GRPs, but the big news this week is the displacement of STAR Plus (240 GRPs) to the No. 3 position. Zee, which has had a steady and strong showing for the past 10 weeks (221 GRPs in week 21, 213 GRPs in week 20, 235 GRPs in week 19, 228 GRPs in week 18, 212 GRPs in week 17, 232 GRPs in week 16, 236 GRPs in week 15, 235 GRPs in week 14, 239 GRPs in week 13 and 222 GRPs in week 12) has now muddied the GEC waters with 245 GRPs for week 22 (TAM, HSM, CS 4+).

Also notable is the performance of NDTV Imagine, which managed to cross the psychological 100 GRP barrier with 108 GRPs. Sony showed post IPL gains with their new round up, delivering 97 GRPs.

Real TV is in real trouble, delivering just 18 GRPs. Incidentally 9X, with no new programming, continues to outdeliver Real, with 23 GRPs for the week.
