Channel [V], Campaign India to host FYI 2010

Channel [V] in partnership with Campaign India is set to launch FYI — Forum for Youth Insights on March 11th, 2010 in Mumbai. Conceptualised as a one-day conference, the forum will feature speakers from around the world who will share insights on the challenges and opportunities of marketing to youth. The one-day conference will also see the release of a research study titled Project Bloody Cool, which will look at delving deeper into the lives of the youth today and understand their preferences and attitudes in order to identify trends of tomorrow. The study will look at respondents in the age group of 16 to 19 years of age and is being carried out by Quantum Market Research in association with TNS.

Making the announcement, Prem Kamath, GM- marketing, Channel [V] said, “We believe there is a pressing need for a strong body of information on youth trends — both current and emerging. The Channel [V] Forum for Youth Insights has been created to serve that purpose. Apart from having some of the biggest names in Youth Marketing from around the world as speakers, we will also be unveiling a comprehensive pan India study covering 21 cities and over 5000 respondents. This forum will serve as a strong beacon for anyone engaged in marketing to the youth of this country.”
