Commented Pantvaidya, I am very excited about my new assignment with Fox Television Studios India and the opportunity to bring the best of the Fox format shows, new international formats and original fiction concepts to the Indian market. I believe that the Indian television market is poised to see changes in the way shows are produced – seasonal television, production of various types of programming in alternative genres, and cost-efficient creative processes. These are the new trends and the reality in television production, and we foresee the team at Fox Television Studios India becoming the drivers of these initiatives."

Added Shikiya, “There is no question that the Indian marketplace is experiencing enormous growth, both in terms of volume and in the breadth of programming audiences are now demanding. To help Fox Television Studios India exploit that growth and leverage the strength of the Fox television brand, Fox Television Studios India needed aggressive, strategic leadership combined with strong creative vision. In Nachiket Pantvaidya we have found exactly that, and are delighted to have been able to bring him into the Fox Television Studios organization.”

Pantvaidya's last stint was with Balaji Telefilms where he was the CEO for the TV content business. With a career in media spanning across 14 years, he has also worked at companies such as BBC Worldwide and at The Walt Disney Company, India.
