Unilever kicked off a global media review in January 2015 and the work has been mostly retained by incumbent agencies.
In Asia, WPP agency Mindshare will continue to work with Hindustan Unilever in India through Mindshare Fulcrum, besides Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Australia, having been previously held by Mindshare, and has now gone to PHD. The Omnicom media agency has also been appointed as Unilever's media agency in New Zealand, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

PHD retained China and a global communications brief, as well as winning global search duties.
Mindshare has retained the accounts for the US and Europe and has picked up central and eastern Europe, which were previously held by PHD.
IPG media agency Initiative has been appointed as Unilever's media agency partner for Latin America and Greece.
It is understood that all the global programmatic and data work will be done by Mindshare.
