Santanu Bhattacharjee joins Allied Media as business head for Panasonic

 

Percept Limited's Allied Media has appointed Santanu Bhattacharjee as the business head for the team handling Panasonic. In his new role, Bhattacharjee will be based in New Delhi and report to Surbhi Murthy, associate vice president.
 
Bhattacharjee has more than a decade’s experience and was director, business development at Mindshare prior to his move to Allied Media. In earlier assignments, he has worked with IMG and Panacea Biotec.
 
On the appointment, Murthy said, “Each category has its own speciality and every major client has specific needs based on their various product life cycles. By getting Santanu on board we are consolidating our resources to form a customised team to meet the needs of Panasonic as a client."
 
PM Balakrishna, chief operating officer, Allied Media, added, “Santanu has a varied background across critical branding portfolios and will add a tremendous value to our company which is a young organisation growing at a break neck speed. He has a deep understanding of the business of media and am confident that he will drive our unrelenting focus on building and adding constant value for our discerning clients."
