141 Sercon hires Abhijit Lahiri as AVP

Below-the-line solutions provider 141 Sercon has appointed Abhijit Lahiri (pictured) as assistant vice president. Lahiri’s new responsibilities include heading the business portfolio of north and east India. He will also provide strategic leadership and nurture the in-house talent, besides business development for 141 Sercon. He will be based out of New Delhi and will report to managing director Vijay Singh.

Below-the-line solutions provider 141 Sercon has appointed Abhijit Lahiri (pictured) as assistant vice president. Lahiri’s new responsibilities include heading the business portfolio of north and east India. He will also provide strategic leadership and nurture the in-house talent, besides business development for 141 Sercon. He will be based out of New Delhi and will report to managing director Vijay Singh.
 
Commenting about the appointment, Singh  said  “Abhijit  brings vast experience and expertise to 141 Sercon, his expanse of knowledge in BTL, Direct Marketing, CRM and Activations is well recognized in the industry. With his appointment, we will further strengthen our presence in north and east India and I am sure that he will prove to be invaluable in helping 141 Sercon achieve its business objectives”.
 
Added Lahiri, “I am elated to join 141 Sercon at such a crucial juncture when the company is strengthening itself internally to emerge as the biggest player in the market. 141 Sercon has carved a unique position for itself in today’s market. My key responsibility here will be to develop most effective and measurable BTL solutions across all channels for the clients and to initiate concrete efforts to further consolidate 141 Sercon’s position as the biggest player in the BTL segment. It will be my endeavor to groom the existing talent as well to achieve nothing but the best”.
 
Before this, Lahiri has worked for companies such as Enterprise Nexus, Thompson Connect, Contract and Ulka, in senior positions. The portfolio of brands he has worked on previously include Xerox, Canon, Spice, Indian Airlines, Havells, Hindustan Lever and The Telegraph.
