Sintex urges families to adopt triple-layered solution, not plumbers

Sintex Industries has rolled out a TVC to promote its triple-layered water storage solutions. The film takes the humour route to make the pitch and has been conceptualised by DDB Mudra West.
 
The film sees a middle-aged couple waking up to an alarm. As the camera zooms out, one sees another bed in the room, occupied by a man who doesn't look like he is part of the family. As the man of the house settles in his chair and reads a newspaper, the other man leafs through a magazine – held upside down. The wife brings a cup of tea and the husband expectantly reaches out for it. She hands it to the other man instead. When the couple celebrate their son's birthday, the other man receives the first bite of the cake. 
 
As the husband shaves, the other man brushes his teeth. Just then, the water stops. The family members rush to the man looking at him expectantly. He dramatically and confidently tosses the toothbrush and picks a heavy tool instead, identifying himself as a plumber, and gestures to them that he'll take care of it. As the man of the house looks on while the plumber tries to fix the water tank on the terrace, the voice over says, "Aapka sadharan tank mein lagatar problem? Toh plumber ke saath aisa kareebi rishta judega hi" (Regular problems with your normal tank? Then you will end up in such a close relation with your plumber). The film ends introducing the brand's triple layered water storage solutions and sign off of: 'Sintex. We make sense'.
