Kingfisher remixes 'Oo la lala le o’ chant this IPL carnival

Kingfisher has brought back its signature 'Oo la lala le o' jingle with two TVCs for the ongoing IPL season.

The films feature cricketers from different IPL teams hanging out together.

One of them films opens with Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni  asking, 'Are you ready for the good times?', while the other begins with Royal Challengers' Virat Kohli asking the same question.

The films then move to players from seven IPL teams Kingfisher is associated with (other than Kolkata Knight Riders) humming and dancing to the 'Oo la lala le o' number as the brand looks to take the focus away from these players being opponents. A voice over surmises, 'Divided by teams. United by Kingfisher.'

Gurpreet Singh, assistant vice president – marketing, United Breweries, said, "True to the tagline ‘Divided by teams, United by Kingfisher’, the newly launched television commercial for this season’s T20 extravaganza captures the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship that binds various teams together. Reflecting the upbeat mood of the cricketers before and after nerve-wracking matches, the TVC is a representation of the brand’s philosophy 'Good Times'. We aim to spread the cricket cheer to every home and get the crowd humming to ‘Oo La La La Le O’ with their favourite cricketers!”
