Total has rolled out its new global ad film campaign that has been conceptualised by Publicis Groupe . The film was released simultaneously in 21 countries on 2 October.

The film, features a number of Total Group employees and has been filmed at Total sites. The film also showcases the group’s operations in Solar, Oil and Natural gas.

The film begins with an employee working on an oil rig in the middle of the ocean. As the rain bellows down on him, he says, “It’s not about the place”. We then move to an oil field in the frigid tundra as an employee is seen riding a snowmobile. He says, “It’s not about the temperature”. We then see a Total Gas station, where an attendant says, “It’s not about the dedication”. We then see a father entering his home to a jubilant daughter running towards him for a hug. He looks to the camera and says, “In fact it’s not a question at all”.

We then see engineers, a lady from upper management and a common person. As we go across the globe to the different locations and see people with different job profiles, they all say ( not collectively), “Energy has to be better. It’s our responsibility and our commitment, to make to it better, for all of us”. The film ends with a super of Total’s logo.
