Mak Lubricants has launched a brand commercial through to reinforce the thought, ‘Mak makes it possible’.

The ad film created by Havas Worldwide opens in a village where a group of young school children are being taught in an open air classroom. As the teacher explains that all rivers flow into the sea, a boy asks if they too can see the ocean. The teacher says it’s surely possible, and they embark on a road trip. They travel hitching rides on a tractor, truck, jeep, two wheelers, sedan and a utility vehicle. The film ends with the students reaching a beach and running on to the water. Meanwhile, Mak Lubricants gets its message across.

Shavon Barua, president, West and South, Havas Worldwide, said, “The message is optimism. In a nation of many challenges, Mak believes that if you can dream it, you can do it. Mak truly is an enabler of the ambitions and goals of India today through the length and breadth of the nation.”

Vivek Rao, ECD, Havas Worldwide, added, “We believe the commercial would have universality of appeal as it speaks to the diversity of India. Having children in the commercial was a way to depict that tomorrow’s generation will carry the same flag of optimism as today.”

A Bharat Petroleum spokesperson added that the intent was to give ‘a single minded brand focus’ to Mak’s diverse portfolio, while staying true to the mother brand Bharat Petroleum’s purpose of ‘energizing lives’.
