Nitin Mantri re-elected president of PRCAI
The Public Relations Consultants Association of India (PRCAI) has announced the election of Nitin Mantri, CEO, Avian Media, as president, at its annual general meeting held on 6 May. 
 
Also elected were Sunayna Malik, managing director, Text 100, as vice president and Aman Gupta, managing partner, SPAG Asia, as secretary. 
 
The tenure for the elected members is two years (2016-'18). 
 
Mantri has been president of the committee since April 2015, taking over from Sharif D Rangnekar, CEO and director of Integral PR, who resigned from the role. Mantri was VP when Rangnekar's helmed the body.
 
Mantri said, “It’s an honour to be appointed once more as president of the PRCAI. I would like to express my gratitude to the members for reposing their faith in me once again. PRCAI has been doing some great work in building and enhancing benchmarks relevant to our industry. Along with the new team, we intend to continue focussing on the areas of knowledge, ethics and expertise, and, create more platforms for the industry to showcase its feats.”
 
The elected regional chapter chairpersons are: Rohit Srivastava, Melcole PR (North), Sumathi Chari, PRHUB (South), Paresh Chaudhary, Madison PR (West) and Basav Bhattacharya, Integral PR (East).
 
Set up in October 2001, PRCAI is an association of India’s public relations consultancies.
