Maxus digital appoints Suraj Nambiar as GM South
Maxus has announced the appointment of Suraj Nambiar as GM for its digital practice in the South. He joined the GroupM outfit on 2 February 2016, moving from Interactive Avenues, where he was VP – South.
 
At Maxus, he replaces Venkatesh Kamath who headed digital for South prior. Nambiar will report to Vishal Jacob, national director, digital, Maxus.
 
Jacob said, “We have been looking to strengthen our digital presence in the South market and we seem to have found the right person to do so. Suraj moreover, has an impressive track record of working on some of India's most loved brands. We are very excited to have Suraj join us and take our digital services to the next level”
 
Nambiar has also worked with Mindshare, MEC, The Big idea (Dubai) and Quasar in a career spanning 15 years.
 
On the new role, he said, “I am very excited by the role given to me at Maxus. The agency is well known for being integrated, nimble and fearless! Looking forward to some great times ahead.”
