The Consumer Complaints Council of the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) ruled that 82 out of 148 ads it reviewed in June 2015 had violated the self-regulation code.
At 26, 'Personal Care and Health' recorded most number of violations followed by 22 in 'Education', nine in the 'Food and Beverage' category, seven in 'Media and Entertainment' and 18 in 'Others'.
