MEC India wins media duties of Global Consumer Products
MEC India has announced that it has won the media duties of FMCG startup Global Consumer Products. The account will be led by the agency's Bengaluru office, informed an MEC statement.
 
Global Consumer Products has been launched by A Mahendran, former MD of Godrej Consumer Products,and will enter the market with chocolates, confectionery, beverages (juices, mineral water) and snacks. The first brand from the company is LuvIt (chocolates).
 
T Gangadhar, MD, MEC India, said, “It is a privilege to be partnering Global Consumer Products on this exciting journey. We have a ringside view of Mr Mahendran’s grand vision and it is absolutely inspiring.” 
Former Britannia hand Anuradha Narasimhan, EVP – sales and marketing at Global Consumer Products, added, “As a startup, we are looking for agency partners who will think proactively for our brands and will work with us to grow our business. We are delighted to be working with MEC who bring in media as well as activation expertise in the offline and online spaces.”
