Cheil Worldwide has appointed Shiv Sethuraman as its group president, South West (SW) Asia. To strengthen Cheil’s growing position in the region, he will be based in Gurgaon NCR and will oversee day-to- day operations whilst playing a pivotal role in driving new business growth and strategies, informed the official release.
“Cheil is one of the fastest growing agencies in India and we are confident that Shiv is the right person to lead the company forward," said John Koo, president and head of regional HQ, Cheil Worldwide SW Asia.
“Shiv brings extensive experience and has proven leadership to drive strategic growth and deliver results. We believe his passion for creativity, technology and people can be leveraged across the company and that, it will ensure, Cheil continues to have a positive impact on its clients and their brands," he added.

Prior to this move, he was CEO of Percept One which he joined in July 2014.
In a career spanning two decades, he was appointed to head TBWA India in 2008, and has also served as MD of Ogilvy & Mather, Paris.
