Tata Global Beverages and HUL share Client of the Year accolade; Lodestar UM is runner up on points table

Emvies 2014: Maxus is Agency of the Year

Maxus ended Mindshare’s six-year-long dominance at the Emvies by bagging the Agency of the Year title in the 2014 competition, winners of which were announced on 17 September in Mumbai. The agency’s metal haul included a Grand Emvie, besides nine Gold, six Silver and three Bronze trophies.

The agency won Grand Emvie for the entry 'PO49 Elections: The Media Movement that Changed the Role of Women in Indian Elections'.

Five of the Gold wins were for work on Tata Global Beverages. Two of the Gold wins were for Tata Sky work, while one was for client Titan. The agency also won a Gold for Agency Research.

Lodestar finished second on the points tally with a Gold, 13 Silver and six Bronze metals. Lodestar’s Gold win was for work on Johnson & Johnson Baby Massage Oil.

Mindshare bagged three Gold and five Silver Emvie awards. The Gold wins were for entries on Kellogg’s, HUL (Kan Khajura Tesan) and Star Sports.

Madison’s Media Infinity and Media Pinnacle finished tied on points. Infinity bagged two Golds and four Silvers. The Gold wins came for Asian Paints and Marico (Mediker) work. 

Pinnacle bagged a Gold, three Silvers and five Bronze awards. The Gold win was for a Cadbury Bournville campaign.

PHD bagged two Golds, both for HUL work (Kan Khajura Tesan). The agency also bagged two silvers and a Bronze.

Other agencies to bag Golds were Mediacom, ibs, Vizeum and Interactive Avenues.

Points are calibrated by The Advertising Club as follows: Grand Emvie (20), Gold (15), Silver (10) and Bronze (5).
