IAA Young Turks Forum to feature Balki and Hollywood director Stefan Haves on 19 September

700 young professionals to interact with 35 industry leaders in inaugural ‘Mentorship Programme’

IAA Young Turks Forum to feature Balki and Hollywood director Stefan Haves on 19 September
The International Advertising Association (IAA) India Chapter’s third Young Turks Forum will feature Lowe Lintas chairman R Balki and Hollywood director Stefan Haves, moderated by author Anish Trivedi. The theme chosen is ‘Engaging with the Audience – Lessons from the Entertainment Industry’.

The Forum, to be hosted at the Bombay Stock Exchange premises on 19 September, will be followed by the inaugural ‘Mentorship Programme’ of the IAA. The programme will see around 35 senior industry professionals address career queries from 20 young executives each. Sangita Jindal, chairperson, JSW Foundation, will launch the programme.

“IAA is for the first time doing a double event - a high energy interactive session followed by a mentorship programme where 20 young executives will have their questions answered on their personal career issues by one of the 35 seasoned professionals/entrepreneurs assembled at the event,” said Srinivasan K Swamy, president - India chapter and VP - development, Apac, IAA.

Manish Advani, head – marketing and public relations, Mahindra Special Services Group, and chair of the IAA Young Turks Forum, added, “I can say from my own experience that one moment’s association with a leader could change one’s life. The only difference between the leader and the beginner is, that the leader has failed more times than the beginner has even tried. Through this initiative we are offering our future leaders an opportunity to learn about the failures of our current leaders to create a better world for our future generations. This event is the third one and promises to be better than the one when 800 young people participated.”

“HBO has always had a strong connect with youth audiences and we are delighted to be associated with this thought exchange platform for young leaders,” said Monica Tata, MD, HBO South Asia. HBO is the presenting partner of the third IAA Young Turks Forum.
