New York Festivals 2014: Three shortlists from India

Shortlisted entries for the 2014 New York Festivals (World's Best Advertising) have been announced. From India, there are three entries shortlisted.

In the Film category, ‘Google Reunion’ by Chrome Pictures has been shortlisted for Direction. The film conceptualised by Ogilvy & Mather was directed by Amit Sharma.

Two of India’s shortlisted entries are in the Design competition. In the Posters sub-category, the entry ‘Lamp Shades’ for client brand Lladro by Crayons Advertising has been shortlisted.

‘The Presidium Curriculum Book Covers’ by agency Out of the Box for Presidium / Marvel Group has been shortlisted for Art Direction.

For the 2014 competition, a ‘Grand Jury’ comprised of over 400 creative leaders (CDs, ECDs, and above) from 100 countries determined the shortlist through two online judging rounds. The shortlisted entries move to a live judging round with an ‘Executive Jury’, comprised of global creative officers. Winners are to be announced on 1 May 2014.

The most number of shortlisted entries was from Germany, at 224.
