Ashish Khazanchi, Ajay Verma launch creative agency 'Enormous'

Ashish Khazanchi, ex-vice chairman and NCD, Publicis Ambience, and Ajay Verma, former chief growth officer at Draftfcb-Ulka, have joined hands to set up creative agency ‘Enormous’. Joining them, also a third managing partner at the Mumbai-based agency, is Vivek Suchanti, MD, Concept Communications.

The agency began operations on 1 October and has a core team of ten people.

Khazanchi quit Publicis Ambience in July this year after a stint of over five years.

On Enormous, Khazanchi explained that the grammar of speaking to the consumer has changed; brands need newer ways of not just communicating but forming talk-worthy connections, he said, noting that the agency would help brands achieve that.

Enormous will also create its own IPs in the area of brand assets and consumer interface, informed Khazanchi. Without divulging names, he said that the agency is currently working with clients from the media, FMCG, retail and real estate sectors.

For Suchanti, this represents the fourth investment in a start-up creative agency, following Eleven Brandworks, Scarecrow Communications and ITSA.
