Everest Brand Solutions has been given the creative mandate for Pantaloon Fashion and Retail, a part of the Aditya Birla Group (Nuvo). There was no pitch involved. Everest also handles the account of the retail chain More from the Group.
The account will be handled by Everest’s Mumbai office.
Pantaloon has a pan-India presence and houses over 100 brands at its stores. The group had said it would invest around Rs 150 crore to carry out expansion and renovation plans this financial year.
The marketing communication mandate will be print-led, informed an Everest official.
On the appointment, Shital Mehta, CEO, Pantaloons Fashion Retail, said, “Everest are a young and energetic team and they will be a good match for us at this point of time since we are poised for substantial growth in market share and revenue in the multi-brand retail industry. We were looking for a team who could provide a new perspective and put in the necessary effort as a partner to take the brand to the next level.”
