Law & Kenneth ropes in Avinash Shenoy as head of Mumbai operations

Law & Kenneth has appointed Avinash Shenoy as senior vice president in charge of its Mumbai operations. He will be reporting in to Anil S Nair, CEO and managing partner. The responsibility was handled by Rana Barua, chief operating officer, West and South, until he moved to Contract Advertising in February this year.

Nair said, “Our Mumbai operations will benefit tremendously with a young leader like Avinash at the helm. He has the passion and the desire to excel and we look forward to him growing into one of the finest leaders in the industry.”

On his joining Law & Kenneth, Shenoy said “Law and Kenneth is a place where there is a perfect synergy between partnering with the brands we work on and having the passion about the communication we create for each of them. This union will be a key competence for our growth as an agency in the coming days. I’m glad to be part of this dynamic and forward thinking team that is always looking at doing more and thus promising that defining change with the years to come.”

Prior to the appointment, he was general manager (customer development, modern trade), PepsiCo India. He started his career in advertising, and has worked at Grey Worldwide, Ambience Publicis and Bates in previous assignments.
