IAA Webinar: SAP's Julie Roehm up next on ‘World Goes Digital’ series

The International Advertising Association (IAA) India Chapter has announced Julie Roehm, chief story teller, SAP as the speaker for its next in the webinar series ‘World goes Digital’. This webinar using the Google Hangout platform will take place on 24 July 2013 at 5:30 pm.

Srinivasan Swamy, president, IAA India Chapter, and VP-development, Asia/Pacific region, IAA, said, "We began this series in April and have featured Rajan Anandan from Google, Ajit Balakrishnan from Rediff.com and Nishant Rao from Linkedin. This time we have Julie Roehm. It is nice to know that this knowledge sharing platform by IAA is getting high profile speakers from across the world and making a big difference to the way we understand digital."

Abhishek Karnani, director, Free Press Journal and Manish Advani, head – marketing and public relations, Mahindra Special Services Group, are co-chairing the IAA webinar series.

Explaining the choice of speaker and her specialisation, Karnani said, “Looking at the way digital is growing, customers in the future will buy products or services based on the stories or experiences of existing users.”

Advani added, “Being in the consulting business what we sell is a concept which is difficult to sell the way other products and services are sold, the only method which has worked well for us is story telling which makes our customers experience what they could expect if they engage us on an assignment.”
