Times Television ropes in Kaushik Ghosh as business head for news channels
Times Television Network (TTN) has appointed Kaushik Ghosh as business head – ET Now and Times Now. Ghosh will be based in Mumbai with P&L responsibility for the channels, interacting with editorial, distribution, branded content and other functions. He will report to Avinash Kaul, chief executive officer – ET Now, Times Now and Zoom.
 
Prior to this, Ghosh was cluster head - ad sales at Star India for three of its regional channels.
On the appointment, Kaul said, “Kaushik’s significant and diverse experience across multiple formats of media and different genres coupled with his experience in non-media industries will work as a catalyst to our aggressive growth efforts. His expertise across brand management, marketing, sales and revenue management will add significant value to our business.”
 
Ghosh added, “Times Television Network is a great place to work, and with the current dynamism in the broadcast industry environment I’m looking forward to a challenging and rewarding assignment.”
Ghosh has spent over 18 years in sales, marketing and regulatory roles at Star India, ENIL (Radio Mirchi), HCL Frontline and Asian Paints.
