GroupM agency Mindshare has opened an office in Kochi. The branch will be headed by KT Haridas.

Ravi Rao, leader - South Asia, Mindshare, said, "Mindshare has been committed to providing leading media and marketing services pan India. The opening of a Kochi office is a natural outgrowth of the strong customer and partner base that we already enjoy in Kerala. We are well positioned and look forward to growing this further."

Mindshare has offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata, and counts among its clients in Kerala Jos Alukka & Sons and Dhathri Ayurveda.

On Mindshare's expansion, Jos Allukas, chairman, Jos Alukka & Sons, said, "Right from the time of our logo change campaign, Mindshare has been with us. We would like to wish the team a very successful journey in Kerala."

Kochi is emerging an important market for agencies to have an office in. In the recent past, Carat India and Dentsu Communications announced the setting up of their offices in Kochi. Incidentally, Dentsu's first account was Jos Alukka & Sons, for which it handles creative duties.
