Randstad embarks on 'name change' campaign in India

HR services provider Randstad, which recently completed the acquisition of Ma Foi Management Consultants, has released an advertisement campaign to announce the name change from Ma Foi Randstad to Randstad.

Ogilvy is the creative agency for the campaign, and Mindshare the media agency. According to Randstad, the spend on the campaign is estimated at around Rs 10 crore.

The campaign, which broke today, will straddle television and print media. It will be visible across leading business dailies, business and news channels and general entertainment channels in English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi and Telugu.

According to the company, the main premise for the media campaign is to build the Randstad brand in India.

On the launch of the campaign, E Balaji, managing director and chief executive officer, Randstad India, said, “This marks an important milestone for our company as we have initiated such an aggressive advertisement campaign for the first time in 20 years in India. Randstad as a company is a very brand-focused organisation and the Randstad brand enjoys great recall across various other countries it represents. We are confident that the same will be achieved through this campaign to establish the brand successfully in the Indian market.”
