Mantri Square Mall assigns advertising duties to Publicis Ambience

Publicis Ambience Bangalore has won the advertising duties for Bengaluru's Mantri Square Mall following a multi-agency pitch.

Commenting on the reason for picking Publicis Ambience, Jermina Menon, head, mall marketing, Mantri Square Mall said, “What made us decide on Publicis was that they really took a lot of effort in understanding the nuances of the mall business. Being a new and nascent industry, mall marketing is seen as retail marketing – which it isn’t! Not only did they understand the issues we grapple with but also had some very important insights on shoppers. Translating these into marketable ideas was thus easy. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relation with Publicis”

Kaustav Das, executive vice president South, Publicis Ambience, added, “We are delighted with the trust that the Mantri Square team has placed in us. Retail marketing is different from traditional brand building. With our integrated, innovative team structure we are uniquely positioned to partner Mantri Square Mall in developing contagious Ideas that change conversation in the Mall Category”

Vinod Vijaykumar, vice president, Publicis Ambience Bangalore said, “It’s a different kind of thrill when a client says, 'your work is actually differentiated and meaningful; for a domain that is seldom understood by advertising agencies. We have started our innings in managing and growing retail brands with the Mantri Square win. Hope to develop path breaking insights and next practices for this cateogory in the coming months."
