Indira Das has stepped down from her position of creative director, Draftfcb Ulka, Bangalore. Das will be replaced by Dharmesh Shah, who is currently creative director at the agency’s Mumbai office.
K S Chakravarthy (Chax), national creative director, Draftfcb Ulka, said, “Due to some happy developments on the personal front, Das will be stepping down from her position. Over the last 10 years, Das has created many memorable campaigns on the brands she has handled and played a key role in building a top notch operation in Bangalore.
He added, “With our roster here spanning Wipro consumer products, including the evergreen Santoor range, as well as the entire gamut of biscuits and confectionaries from ITC Foods, DraftfcbUlka, Bangalore is a very important office for us. Fortunately, in Dharmesh Shah, creative director, Mumbai, we have the perfect successor to take over from her. He has worked on almost every brand we handle across Mumbai and Bangalore and he will move very shortly to Bangalore to ensure a good two-month overlap for a seamless transition. We wish Indu all the very best for the future, and welcome Dharmesh into his exciting new role.”
