Dentsu promotes Shivanand Mohanty as creative head

Dentsu Communications has promoted Shivanand ‘Doc’ Mohanty (pictured) as the creative head of the agency. Before this, he was the executive creative director. Mohanty will work closely with Ruchira Raina, managing director, Dentsu Communications and national business head – Dentsu Media. All creative teams at Dentsu Communications in Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai will report to Mohanty.

Dentsu Communications has promoted Shivanand ‘Doc’ Mohanty (pictured) as the creative head of the agency. Before this, he was the executive creative director. Mohanty will work closely with Ruchira Raina, managing director, Dentsu Communications and national business head – Dentsu Media. All creative teams at Dentsu Communications in Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai will report to Mohanty.

Before Dentsu Communications, Mohanty was with Impact BBDO. He has worked with Rediffusion DY&R in Delhi, Bangalore and Delhi after starting off with Interact Vision, Delhi. His portfolio includes Airtel, AT&T and McDowells & Co, BPL and Wella, Dodge and Deutsche Software, 7UP and Canon, Taj Group of Hotels and Maruti Suzuki, Airtel and Jeep.  At Dentsu Communications, he handles clients including Toyota, Yamaha, Panasonic, NACO, Indian Oil, Incredible India, Aircel and Acer among others.

Commenting on his new role, Mohanty said, “The Dentsu way is to create value. Our attempt will be to achieve this in fresh ways, to put out work that connects with people deeply while working for the brand.”
